Finding and Qualifying Agents and Distributors
Finding and qualifies partners overseas is one of the most critical tasks of a company as it expands internationally. This webinar will explain techniques to find suitable partners and then qualify them to select the best partner.
Why this matters to your business
Selecting the wrong intermediary in a foreign market can lead to lost sales and higher risks. Yet finding and qualifying partners is more difficult when searching outside the home market of a company. Understanding these issues are critical.
- Exporters often need intermediaries in foreign markets to support the sales channel.
- Foreign partners are an extension of the exporter (not legally, but in terms of supporting them).
- Businesses do not need to do this alone. There are important resources to make this easier.
Business challenges you may face without this knowledge
- Exporters will not achieve the same level of sales with a weak partner.
- The wrong partner could also lead to higher risks such as reputation damage and loss of IP.
- Without adequate training, businesses could waste time and resources in finding and qualifying partners.
Who should watch this webinar
- Any company trading internationally.
- Trade resources and advisers
