Foreign Exchange Rate Risk and Mitigation
Doing business in multiple countries means both income and payments may fluctuate as the exchange rates between those national currencies change. This webinar will cover why exchange rates fluctuate, how that impacts the bottom line for businesses, and tools to manage that exchange rate risk.
Why this matters to your business
- Identifying where your business has exchange rate risk helps you better plan and manage your business
- Hedging exchange rate risk creates more certainty about cash flows and profits
- Selling or buying in local currency increases business opportunities
Business challenges you may face without this knowledge
- Losses from fluctuations in production costs or anticipated profits due to unanticipated changes in exchange rates
- Lost sales to rivals that are willing to sell in local currency and actively hedge exchange rate risk
Who should watch this webinar
- Any business leader selling or buying products or raw materials across international markets
- Anyone needing to help business leaders understand how exchange rates work and impact risk
